Is a month long enough to get tested?
You can breathe a sigh of relief. However, there is a small chance that the virus has not progressed enough to show up in your blood (antigen). Keep getting tested every 3-6 months. Just remember. If you get Hep C - it can cause end stage liver disease, leaving you yellow, drinking Lactulose - constant diarrhea with a poop tube, with ascites in your belly awaiting a transplant. HIV drugs are expensive, never cured, can have a strong strain that doesn't respond and your CD4 count will eventually fall below 200 classifying you AIDs and will die in the near future. So you may have escaped this time, but not so lucky the next. All the best.
