Oovoo strikes again!?

oovoo showed a message that said failed tto sign in & I looked it up & it seems the problem was I didn't have the latest version. sso I went to download it but the download failed. I got help with that & it began to install. but then it said I had to uninstall the previous version. so I did & it began installing again. when it was done installing though it didn't open automatically even though I had it set to do so. then when I went to open oovoo manually it owuldn't open. I left clicked & selected open, double clicked... I tried everything. Please help,
