Do i believe him or his FB relationsship status?

So imet this guy. we made out and then couple a days later when i added him on fb i saw that his status was " in a relationship". i was like watever so we only texted each other like very general stuff after that like how are you, or how was your day . But when I saw him at the bar the other day, I said hi and walked away. So rightbefore the bar closes he txted me and asked if i wanted to come over. I told him tht we could hang out as frens and that we could talk but I would not comeover to his house . I told him tht his fb status said he was ina relaitonship and that I wasnt gonna comeover. He told me that his laptop is broken and his iphone does not allow to make fb status edits (WHICH BY THE WAY IS TRUE) But i still wanted tto make sure that he was single if I was gonnna go and hang out with him at his house or make out with him again. I told him tht I couldnt comve over until his status changed. He hasnt chnaged his status yet. Do i believ wht he said about not being able to change it cuz he does not have a computer or is he lying? he does not go to school at the moment.
