What's a good quality digital camera?

I need a camera that has good quality and some fun effects for tthe price of 160 or lower. I was planning tto go for the nikon coolpix s5100 but I'm nott sure if it meet the quality that I need. I want one that is good quality as a dslr. Or maybe near it. Could you please help me cchoose one I'm not tto good at picking cameras
