What guns do the british navy use?

im interested in this, i want to join the british naval forces when im older as an engineer. Before I go any further, I would just like to say, no im not joining for the guns, im not interested in guns/war because of COD, I don't think il be able to do everything and be captain in a week, im not gay, and I am doing an engineering B-Tech and achieving distinction's. if you have any other prejudice against me by reading my first sentence, your an ignorant moron... Anyway, im just interested, do they use the same as the other forces? (RAF..) how many different hand held weapons do they use? do they use hand guns?, snipers? which assault rifles? just any Information you have would be great!!! wikipedia isn't much help for a change, so i thought it would be best to ask someone who has experience in the field, if that's you, thank you for reading!!! please help me
