Why are some girls such sluts to me?

I really dont think ilook thatgood but alot of girls like to flirt with me and just throw themselfs at me my friend josh trys tto talk to the girls that are always trying to talk to me/ flirt but he just gets ignored or just gets a simple yes no reply i really dont see a difference with me and josh and im actually more shy then him so i just need to know ?
